4 DAYS WELL SPENT IN BERLIN

Berlin, August 12th 2017. We went for a long weekend in the city of street art. This was not really planned, we had to rush to an appointment at the French Embassy of Berlin in order to finalise some paper for our wedding. This was therefore the perfect occasion to visit the city. We arrived on September 12th, late in the afternoon an went directly to eat in a middle eastern restaurant (if you know us, we love arabic food) called Maroush. The food was delicious and the portions waaaayy too big!

We enjoyed our time over there by talking long walks in parks, bridges and the city streets, We saw some of Berlin's famous monuments such as Brandenburger Tor located in Pariser platz, had a quick look at the Checkpoint Charlie, passed the Reichtag, took a nap in the garden in front of the Berlin Cathedral, admired the Memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe, learned a bit more of history about the Berlin Wall at the Berlin Wall Memorial, checked out some street art at the East Side Gallery, went under the big dome of the Sony Center, had a walk along Potsdamer Platz and much more.

We also enjoyed the food over there. I have to say, Berlin is very cheap when it comes to food (at least compared to Munich) and there are so many great restaurant/snacks over there, as well as so many great spots to chill, enjoy a drink and listen to some music. I feel like I did so much in these 4 days but I still have so much to do. This city is huge guys, you should definitely plan a weekend over there.

I listed some of the main monuments, brunch/coffee/restaurant addresses from Berlin at the bottom of the post. Do you have any recommendations of some of the best spots over there ?

ON THE WAY, WE PASSED LEIPZIG...

AND FINALLY ARRIVED IN BERLIN.
